Bamboo for privacy shield?

Bamboo for privacy shield?
Can someone tell me if there's a FAST growing, tall, privacy bamboo that won't threaten my neighbor's cow pasture (which borders my yard on three sides?) I have weeping privet started, but am having trouble finding more of it.

Bamboo grows rapidly and very tall. But, it tends to be invasive and will most likely enter your neighbor's property. If you can not find what you want at local garden centers, try shopping online. If you don't like the aspect of shopping online, you can email or call them and ask for a catalog.

another option might be cannas. they grow really fast & really tall. but you do need to cut them down for the winter, so there'd be a gap of a few months when you wouldn't have the privacy. they tend to spread a bit, too, though, but i wouldn't call them "invasive."

Except for Heavenly Bamboo or nandina, bamboo tends to be invasive. Eliminating a stand of bamboo is on the order of establishing world peace. Some fast growing evergreens include: viburnum, thuga green giant tree, and crytomeria. As recommended, check your local garden centers.
