Does River Rock/Stone come in different 'tints'?

It seems when I drive by some homes that have been landscaped with river rock/stone that it can appear to be a different color that other river rock colors.

I realize river rock is a combination of various colors of rock but it seems that the overall 'tint' to the rock can be darker or lighter or more gray or more brown when compared to other river rock.

I am trying to find river rock with a lighter/whiter tint is why I ask.

Faux stones are available in all types of sizes and shapes and dyed in different colors. River rocks are softly rounded to simulate the shape of stone that has been tumbled by rushing waters. Some suppliers sell real river rocks that have been rounded by water over eons of time. You will need to shop around to find a supplier that sells the particular color of rock you want.
