Yard Projects 2008

Hi there,
I just join today and here I go.

This is phase 2 of my yard improvement
I have been working my yard for 8 years now.
I have cleared 20 pluss trees in that time line

I have a 10 to 15 foot grade (est) and will begin grading this year lets say 80' x 50' area (apox) I will measure to define these numbers in the near furture. I just bought a tiller 5 hp to start this process. I want to do 2 levels. Using the cut from top to back fill the lower. Any help on doing this process are welcome.

I'm looking to put a 12'x 20 shed in by the fall if all goes well.

More on the job list will follow.

Hello, Big Jim and welcome to the DIY Forums!

Do you have a digital camera? You should be taking "before" pictures, as well as pictures, during, and when you finish. One of the odd things about a long term project is that you kind of forget just what it looked like before you started.

It will also be helpful to the people who try to assist you, if you can provide photos.

Thanks Connie,

Thatís a good one.
I only go the cam after the trees were down and I keep forgetting to use it lol.
I didn't think I was aloud to post pics?

Sometimes, it is most helpful for the responders to see what you see. The easiest way to do this is to post a link in your question.

If you have a Google account, you can create an album in Picasa, then post the link here, or use a site like photobucket.

If you want to post photos, on the home page of doityourself.com, there is a section called, "I Did it Myself!", not just for bragging , but to help other people, too.
