Low Water Pressure at Sprinkler Head
Hi all,
I have one sprinkler head which is giving me one "fun" time. It has very low water pressure coming to it.
I have already replacing the head. That didnt work.
I removed the head and elbow so I just have the pipe exposed. I ran the water for 2-3 minutes. There is flow, and it looks clear but it looks to me like it is way too low for a sprinkler to operate on.
Any ideas on how to flush out this line to make sure it is clear?
All of the other heads on the zone operate perfectly.

you can use a garden hose and a rag or anything to seal around the hose end and stick it in the sprinkler cup with the head removed and turn on the hose, be sure to remove the head upstream so any debris in the line will be expelled out, you may have to do this a couple times, when you think you have it turn on that zone and run with the sprinkler head removed, some companies use a saddle over the pipe and then pierce the pipe and the hole is not always cleaned out or a small stone will get lodged in the hole reducing the flow.
