Sprinkler System

Hello,

My name is Samy and this is my first forum. I have a Garden Irrigation sprinkler system. I am looking for advice on how to winterize it myself. I do have a compressor. I just want to make sure I have all the right steps and do this correctly.

Can anyone help.

Samy

Installed in your sprinkler system already there must be a spigot outdoors that is plumbed in the same piping as the valve for the sprinkler. Once you have it, hook up your compressor to that spigot using a rube goldberg style connector that is not available anywhere. Once you have that, figure out where the shutoff valve is upstream of that where your sprinkler is connected to your water supply, probably in your basement at the source of your water, Shut it off. Open the aforementioned spigot with your air compressor connected and run your sprinkler sys manually each station until only air is blowing out and move to the next.
