PVC irrigation line under concrete walk
I plan to add a new zone to my irrigation system in Central Florida. To do so I need to run a PVC pipe under a 4' concrete walk. Can anyone explain the procedure to do so? I know it involves using water pressure but I'm not quite sure how it's done!

Hi Buzcar,
There are different ways to do this.

There are also products you can purchase and possibly rent.

Be careful when doing so--if you remove too much soil the sidewalk will crack and sink and then the city will figure out what happened.
Use a pipe 1 size above the one you want to pound through. Once you do, use it as a sleeve for the pipe you want to actually use.
