Sprinkler Valve for Indoors

I would like to install a common electric sprinkler valve inside the garage. I plan to use it as a valve for a drip irrigation system by running a PVC pipe through the wall from the valve. I can't tell by lookiing at the descriptions of the Rainbird, etc. valves if they are safe to use indoors. I.E. will not self-drain when closing. I don't want any water to be released inside. What should I be looking for?

it will be ok as long as it is not also a bac-flo valve which is a necessity that can and should be installed outside.
