Pipe under driveway

I'm getting a new driveway and walkway installed. I also want to put inground sprinklers in next spring. Should I put 3" pvc under the driveway to run the pipe in or three or four lenths of 3/4" pvc pipe? Thanks.

I agree with Kerry. Put in conduits in different locations. It does not hurt if you don't use them and it's difficult & expensive to bore under the driveway once it's installed. I like to drive a piece of 1/2" (#4) rebar into the ground on each side of the conduit pipe at each end. The rebar stakes hold the pipe in place and allow you to later locate the ends of the pipe with a metal detector.

I also agree, put sleeves any where you may want to run anything whether it's sprinkler lines or electrical wires. to many sleeves is always better than to few.

Thanks for the replies. My PC got a virus or something so I have not been online. I will put in a bunch of sleeves.
