Small flowers/weeds invading lawn

Question for those who might be able to identify the picture below: what are these small white bulbs with red stems creeping up all over my lawn?

They're not covering the entire lawn, as they only appear in spots... They're in my front and back yard, so I'm assuming its not something that just blew in from the neighbors. If it helps to identify, I did notice mushrooms in spots towards the fall but I just assumed this meant my soil healthy. I overseeded and put down lime (in late fall) , but neither of these could contributed as far as I know.

What I'm trying to do at this point is identify and remove these little eye sores, so if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

Do the stems have spiny things on them? Once you see temps in the 50f mark thats when crabgrass starts. So its close time now to put weed presenter down.

You could spot treat them if there are not too many.

Right now the only thing I have for a few weeks now is hairy bittercress is small areas. Almost rid of them. ( Shot weed) the seeds shoot out the flower when you disturb them.

The image below does look similar, as they appear to have hairs/spines upon close examination.

I just spread some Lesco 19-0-7 (fertilizer with crab grass preventer) this weekend, but doubt it will help... A buddy of mine says I may need to spot spray them with something he can mix together.

If it's crabgrass and it's already growing, then you are too late with the preventer. I have some undesired grass in my lawn so no weed killer that won't also kill the grass will touch it so we 'paint' the leaves of it with a small paintbrush using RoundUp poured into a cup - it's a work-around which makes a non-selective herbicide selective.
