Does a Rainbird R VAN 1318 nozzle actually exist?
I set about replacing Toro 570's with Rainbird rotaries at a rental I own. I did this 3 yrs ago at my house and have been most pleased with the improved coverage. My problem is that I need fairly short throws and I can only find the R VAN 1724 (17-24 ft). The R VAN 1318 is listed on the internet, but no one has them and they do not appear on Rainbird's site. I suppose an option would be installing a pressure regulator on the system to shorten the spray distance.

I think some of their products are not available retail. Try contacting a commercial Rain Bird irrigation installer and see if they can help you out.

I am dealing with a wholesaler who sells nothing but irrigation. He has the R VAN 1724's but not 1318's.
