Help, weed in lawn troubles!
Hello,
I am having a nightmare of a time treating this weed into lawn. Please if anyone could help me identify it and tell me how to treat it! Thanks, Cam

It looks like grass to me.
I have a small section of highly manicured "pretty grass". It's a variety of tall fescue and it is doing similarly. After three years of mowing I think natural selection has taken over and some of the grass is going to seed at a much lower height. Low enough that there is seed below the mowed height.

I agree, looks like grass to me as well but I'm guessing it's not the type of grass you want in your lawn.
Killing 'weed' grasses is tough because pretty much anything that will take them out will take the good grass out as well. We have one of these around here as well - not sure what it really is but we all call it bunch grass. We pour RoundUp into a cup and use a small paint brush to paint the leaves of the weed grass so that the good grass around it is unaffected. Tedious, but gets easier with time as the amount of it in your lawn decreases.
