Ideas for landscaping/use after removing Playset

Hello,
I recently removed a pretty standard wooden playset (like the "rainbow" sets) from our backyard. We had the playset area bordered with railroad ties and filled with mulch, so now I'm "stuck" with a bordered-off area, some 30'x10' (approximately), and am wondering what to do with it.

Have considered just pulling up the ties and reseeding, filling with sand or gravel and building a fire pit of some sort, making a putting green, horseshoe pit, bocce court (too short for that, really).

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

That could make a nice edible garden plot, depending on the sunlight there. You could have a little walk-way through it and/or some raised boxes.

What do you want to do with the space? You seem to have your head around a lot of the possibilities already.
