I searched and only two threads appeared.
Anyone have an opinion on this system? I've read the reviews on Home Depot and Lowes. My backyard is in need of a French drain and saw/read about the EZ drain.

They use it a lot around here for landscape drains and especially septic leach fields. One landscaper I asked about it said it saves moving many ton of washed stone for backfill and it's light and quick to install. He said they cover it with river rock when they need surface drainage.
When they use if for leach fields they still use some stone, but not nearly as much as would normally be used.
It's basically standard perforated flex drain surrounded by a tube of filter fabric filled with Styrofoam packing peanuts or similar.

Wow.... you have some water there.
I'm not sure even drain lines can handle all that. It looks like the ground needs to be regraded.
Are there neighbors to the side ?

PJ is 100% correct. The yard needs to be regraded. You may have to add some top soil. If there is water going into the house, the foundation needs to be sealed as well.

That particular day was a strange one. It was a storm from HELL. When it normally rains...actually as I type this, it's raining...the ground gets soggy and doesn't flood like that. It was abnormally rainy that day. Just trying to gauge if that EZ drain actually worked. I searched on YouTube to see any real reviews but didn't really find anything solid.

I don't see a French Drain as the best answer. The best answer is what PJ & myself said. Regrade the yard. You can have a French drain & some dry wells too but they are secondary.

Regrading plus French drain should fix me up eh?
