sprinkler system to hose

My yard is approx. 20×45'. I have been looking into my options for irrigation, since I haven't laid sod. I really don't want to dig out trenches throughout my yard because I feel it's small enough to get away with 2 or 3 pulse sprinklers. Is there a way to do this by linking pulse sprinklers and possibly just running a portion of the set up underground? Or should I just bury the hoses? Would garden hose last longer underground if inside pvc tube?

Much depends on the shape of your yard and your water pressure and flow volume. Once you know your pressure and volume you can see what range different sprinkler emitters will provide.

If you're going to go to the trouble of burying why bury garden hose?

..... and I'm not sure there would even be any cost savings to use garden hose instead of PVC. I wouldn't even consider burying garden hose.
