Drainage problem--grass or grading?

Hi,
We have a French drain buried along the front of our house to help with draining our dense soil yard. But, we still have a continually-wet spot next to the front of our house. suggestions? We are thinking of some regrading (pile dirt), or a variety of very thirsty grass, or both grading and grass.

Grading is you best and first line of defense. Get the water away before it soaks into the ground. Once it's in the ground it moves slower and is harder to deal with.

Grass won't hurt but it also won't help much. It's not like grass is going to magically make water disappear. There is a finite limit to how much water a plant needs to survive and grass can only take in so much water.
