Sick or dying poplar
This tree is possibly 10 yrs old. Recently noticed the leaves are yellowing and browning. Anyone have an idea of the issue? I'll try to upload a couple pictures.

Some Poplar species grow very fast; but have very short life expectancies . . . . but there are about 35 varieties of Poplar, so it will depend a lot upon what you have.

Tulip
I believe is Tulip and I think it has verticillium wilt. Looks like I'll be taking out in the fall as I don't wanna deal with this mess. The tree was here when I bought the place last year. The guy was a fool to plant this in the 1st place. What should I treat the soil with? I'll plant maybe a red maple in its place. Damn

If they are Lombardy Poplar, (fast growing tall and narrow tree) they are short lived. They often develop a bark canker disease at about 10-15 yrs, get sick and die.

Water
Since we have clay soil, I'm wondering if it could possibly be water. We've had rain but hard to tell how much of it penetrated. Damn thing looked great this spring. I ordered a Ross root water spike thing which I've had before and they work great. Also got a bunch of fertilizer tablets for the chamber. At least this is a try.
