Sprinkler blowout

Hi All
I live in Michigan, and have to call a professional to blow out my sprinklers every year before winter. I recently got a compressor to do it myself. My question is, which test c*o*c*k* shud i attach the air compressor to? The top one or the bottom one?

Any advice is highly appreciated. I do not want to blow up my plumbing by doing the wrong thing

This is the first I have seen your thread.

you don't attach air to those... at least I dont.

you should have a spigot somewhere inside and a shutoff valve. Once the shutoff valve is off, you drain the water out the spigot. An air chuck adapter can be made to go on your spigot so that you can blow the supply line out. Then you run through the zones a few times until you have them blown out.
