Bamboo Eradication

Can someone verify whether the attached pictures show Bamboo? I know there are several varietals.

They have been planted prior to owning the house as a privacy wall against the woody area. They have recently multiplied quite a bit this spring and has started to take over some of the edges on the lawn.

Has anyone had experience with eliminating them? Any specific herbicide I should be using? Glyphosate or would a home-made Vinegar/Salt solution be effective?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Kinda looks like the Japanese Knotweed I have, never tried to kill it. Does it have a lot of white flowers in the fall?

Seems to me Shadeladie was trying to kill hers.

Maybe do a google images on Japanese Knotweed to see if that is what you have.

Definitely looks like Japanese Knotweed based on some Google images. I will try to spray Glyphosate into the stems, once I cut them down. Hopefully it will be absorbed right into the roots!

Definitely not a bamboo I have seen before. I hope it is easier to kill than bamboo because from my experience it is often a three year process.
