Hope everyone is well and safe. I had a sprinkler head damaged by a city sidewalk snow plow and when I tried to remove it it snapped at the elbow. I think I should replace the elbow while it is accessible but I've only been able to find 1/2" barbed elbows to connect to water pipe but the pipe is 3/4". Is the 1/2" barb the correct size for 3/4" supply pipe? Thanks

Hi, moved in to a house which I bought in the winter. Now that we are heading into June, the lawn isn’t too bad, but there are areas that have too much thatch. This was also confirmed by a lawn maintenance company I hired to help maintain the lawn for the first year as I have a pretty decent side property that I’m dealing with. All that said, dethatching isn’t part of my package and I wanted to handle some of the area manually with a thatch rake. is it ok to do so now heading into June? We’ve been getting a decent amount of rain and grass seems to be growing well overall except for these few areas. Location is Toronto area. thanks
