Irrigation control device lockout question

my rainbird controller gives a message of lockout on one of my irrigation stations. The others work fine? What does that mean and how do I change it?

Priming an irrigation pump

Hello, I have a Gould pump for my lawn irrigation and want to prime it. If everything is working fine, can I expect the water to actually run through the pump and fill up the pipes to the lake as well? Thanks, Richard P.S. Hi. I have a multi-zone sprinkler setup in my backyard. One of the lines goes up to a steep slope I have in the backyard. It's 3/4" PVC and was going to 4 impact sprinklers on 3' tall posts. I could never get them all moving at once even though I have 50PSI pressure up there. I tried multiple impacts and swapped nozzles on rainbirds etc. Over time the bushes have grown nicely at the edges and now block the sprinklers reaching the middle area so everything is parched and dying. If I add any more sprinkler heads none will turn etc. I have been looking at adding a 1:3 or 1:4 sprinkler valve (battery powered) up there to get multiple zones. I am then unsure whether I should stick to 3/4" PVC, or go for 1/2" or even the thinner black irrigation stuff often used for drips. The goal is to simply cover it all in water. I don't have the time or patience to have individual pipes to individual plants etc. The slope is about 55' wide and about 40' deep. It rises about 20' so it's steep. We're in Southern California.
