recessed light installation
I had asked this question in the Electrical but thinking maybe it should have been here...
I installed 24 recessed lights, Emerald brand purchased from Lowes. (They know have switched brands and are no longer selling Emerald).
My problem relates to putting the trim on and screwing in the bulb. I'm using the ICT Cans and the correct Trim for these cans.
Also using Slyvania 65 watt bulbs.
Once I get the trim on (which seems to be harder then it should be unless I'm doing something wrong) and try to put the bulb in its hard to have enough leverage on the bulb to turn it with the trim so close to the bulb. Is there somekind of rubber gripper or something to help with that?
I also noticed all these Slyvania bulbs, that the part that screws in the socket is not exactly straight with the bulb or are all bulbs made that way and I just never noticed it before? Or did I get some 2nd rated bulbs from Lowes?
I will appreciate any information.
Thanks a lot.
Harlan.
