Remote Control for the Ceiling Fan

How do you connect the ceiling fan remote control when there are two wall switches?

One wall switch controls the light to the ceiling fan and the other wall switch controls the speed to the ceiling fan. From the electrical box, there are three wires for the two wall switches that control the ceiling fan light and speed. The RED wire connected to the blue wire for the ceiling fan light. The BLACK wire connected to the ceiling fan speed and the WHITE wire connected to the ceiling fans white wire.

The ceiling fan remote control has only two wires (RED AC in L and RED AC in N) to be connected to the electrical wires from the two wall switches.

Most ceiling fan remote controls render the wall switches useless. For this reason, I don't like remote controls for fan in rooms where the fan provides the primary light source for the room.

My suggestion would be not to install the remote control. You don't have to. But if the remote is important to you, leave the wall switches on at all times and don't use the red wire in your ceiling box (just cap it off).
