looking for replacement cover glass for older square recessed light box
I dropped one of the square glass covers for our recessed lights in our basement (drop ceiling). I haven't been able to find a replacement nor a name of a manufacturer. The thick glass (1/4 inch) is set within the metal frame which rests flush with the drop ceiling tiles.
DOes anyone have any ideas for me? Right now I've got a 75 watt bulb just waiting to get bumped by an errant nerf ball.

If the fixture is old enough chances are you won't get an exact replacement.Try a glass company, they may be able to cut you peice from scrap.Bring a sample so they can get size right style close.Good luck

Is this the kind of light that's about 9" square with a flat glass? Or maybe 11" square?
Halo still makes them. See if you can find yours here:

Home Depot stocks the 9" one (H1T?), they can probably order one of the others. It's usually cheaper to buy the whole fixture and throw away the glass than it is to order the glass.
