Question Accidentally pulled the chain out of my light (pictures in thread)

I have a light in my kitchen that is turned on/off with a pull chain. Yesterday, I accidentally yanked it a little too hard, and the chain came right out of the fixture. Now the light is stuck on, and I can't turn it off without climbing up there and unscrewing the bulb. I tried shoving the chain back in the hole it came out of, but no dice. I was wondering if there is some way to fix this without calling the apartment maintenance guy and waiting for him to show up. It's kind of tough to make dinner in the dark.

Here are some pictures to better illustrate the problem.

This is a shot of the light fixture itself. You can see the little hole on the side where the chain came out of.

Here's a close-up of the hole. It looks as though it could be unscrewed, but I tried that. It seems to be attached some other way.

Here's the chain that needs to attach to the fixture (somehow). Just a standard ball chain.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys and gals can offer.

If you take the fixture down, you might be able to find where to reattach the chain. Or you can probably just buy a whole replacement fixture for less than ten bucks. Turn off the breaker before doing anything.

Don't think there is any way to put the chain back in. The switch looks like it could be replaced.
