Rope lights have gone out in spots
I have some rope lights, and for that matter some Christmas lights, that just all of the sudden decided to stop working in segments of the strand. Why does this happen, and is there anything I can do about it?

hi
some bend might cause it to blow a section out.
there connected in section inside thats why some part will blow and other still lited.
there nothing you can do but buy new ones.
