Turn light fixture upside-down and rewire

I have a simple chandelier that I would like to turn upside-down. Right now, the bulbs point down, and I would like to have them pointing up. I haven't taken it apart just yet, but is it as simple as just feeding the wire through the bottom instead of the top? Or should I be thinking otherwise? Thanks!

(I have some limited electrical experience, installing recessed lighting is as complicated as I've gotten at this point!)

Can you just rotate the arms with the lights upside-down? It will obviously depend on the fixture, but some are screwed into the hub, and some have nuts on the inside of the hub, holding the arms of the chandelier on.

Otherwise, I guess you could either switch the caps on the hub of the chandelier-bottom to top(if they come off), or flip it and drill a hole on the "new" top to run the wire.

As I said before, it all depends on the chandelier you have.
