Changing from fluorescent to Incandescent Lights
Hi guys,
I have an older home that has drop ceilings in the bedrooms with fluorescent lights. I want to to change to normal incandescent lighting and even add a ceiling fan to one of the bedrooms. Can you give me an idea of how hard this would be and what I would need to accomplish this? I am not the best with lighting issue so try to keep it basic for me!
Thanks for your help!

The important thing is to document which wires went to what colors on the old fixtures. DO NOT change any splices that are not connected to the fixture wires.
I can tell you that you will not have an easy time trying to find fixtures that do not have a warning about only using with wiring with a 90 degree rating. This rating of insulation only started about 1987. Any wiring prior to that was not rated that high.
