Basic Question

Hi all

Im trying to get a sodium lamp up and running and im having a problem with the wiring. Ive drawn a diagram of the graphic on the UAL, its a pretty poor effort:

http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=271449

Basically, I can figure out the earth (no brainer) but im only half sure what all the rest is - presumably N = Neutral, which would make the PH / F = Live, but im worried about just slapping a plug on that end and plugging it in without someone who knows what it all means!

Any help appreciated.

You have it correct.

Ph stands for "phase", which in this case is the "hot". N is the neutral and you figured out the ground.

The marking are strange to me - where was this unit made?
