motion lights
i currently have 2 outside switch operated lights on the same circuit (both go on at the same time when i flick the inside switch to on). if i wanted to replace both of these lights with motion sensor lights, how would this work in regards to the switch?

Most motion sensing lights assume that there is a switch. They have an override mechanism based on certain on/off patterns of the switch. But read the instructions carefully, since some of them restrict you to one light on a switch. Don't know if this might apply to you or not, but they also make motion sensing switches.
Go to the store and look at the lights. Ask a salesperson to open up the box in the store so you can read all the literature inside. Unfortunately, most such fixtures don't put all the information on the outside of the box. To avoid a possible return trip to the store, read it before you buy.
