Front door light post

We have an electric photosensitive light pole. We replaced the head sometime back. Since then, the two lights burn out real quick. What do I need to do? Thanks,

How quick is "real quck"? A millisecond? A second? An hour? A day? A week? A month?

What kind of bulbs are you using?

Haha. sorry I was not specific. The two 40 watt bulbs are burnign out within a week or so with black residue at the bottom. Thanks

i have an older Mobile Home and my husband was going to replace the light in the bathroom. Problem we have is that the wires coming out of the ceiling there are 2 of each Black and White, but the new light only has one of each, how do we wire it???? Hope some one can help.
