replacing a ceiling fan? options
A friend of mine wants me to change over a ceiling fan that is controlled by a single switch (dimmer) He isn't wired to control both lights and fan by switch. Do these new ceiling fans with remotes allow you to control the fan and lights even if it's just wired to operate lights? he pull chain on fan is over bed and isn't easy or conveinant to pull. Thanks

Oh I didn't know that. What do you do with the switch that isn't going to be used?...just cap it off?
