Light on ceiling fan broke

I was tightening a bulb on a ceiling fan (with the light on) and the bulb blew out. The lights all went out and now they won't go back on. The fan still works. All the circuits are fine. It is an older Leviton fan and light. Does anyone have any suigestions about whether this is a fixable problem?

Did you check the breaker. It is possible that the fan and light are on different circuits. If not the breaekr then a loose connection in the fan box.

Does your fan have a remote control?

This was my problem when the same thing happened. To check for sure, disconnect the remote and they connect the supply to the fan. If the light works, then it's the remote.

You never answered if it had a remote or not. That would be my first bet. Second, is a bad connection within the fan's switch housing, or a bad switch on the light kit.

Levitron never made fans, just the switches inside them.
