How to wire multiple recessed lights

I plan on installing 6 hi-hats in a bedroom on a dedicated circuit. I know how to wire the switch to the first hi-hat, but my question is:

Can I just "daisy-chain" each hi-hat to the next? A friend has told me that I cannot because each recessed light wiring compartment is not rated for it. Didn't make sense to me, but what do I know.

Yes you can daisy chain them.

light keeps turning off

I have this high pressure mercury vapoir light outside tht randomly turns off during the night. I has a dusk/dawn light sensor on it. It will turn off for a few minutes then turn back on, sometimes it will stay on all night like it's supposed to. It's the original bulb been in there for 2 years now. I am thinking I need a new sensor. Any thought's. Thanks

New light fixtures - no switches

Good Morning, we are in the process of renovating the bedroom. We purchased well sconce type light fixtures, but after installing one of them, we realised they have no on or off switches. The ones that were there before had the little twisty switches right on them. There are no wall switches in the room. Other than unscrewing the bulbs everytime (ouch), what can we do here?
