Going from a dimmer to a regular switch

Please excuse me if I don't know the proper terms as I am a novice. I thought this would be simple (is anything lol?)
Ok, I just wanted to relplace the dimmer switch with a 'normal' one. I removed the plate and there were 5 wires (I had expected 2, maybe 3) Two black were together and wired to the dimmer and one red was wired to it as well. The 2 white were capped together and unused (they were tucked in behind)
My question is, how do I wire the new switch? Which wires go where?
Here is a pic of the previous setup.

Same way that the dimmer was installed.

On the new switch, there will be two screws (just like on the dimmer).

The two black wires should be attached together with a wire nut and a pigtail going to one of the screws on the switch.

The red wire should go to the other screw on the switch.

The white wires should remain attached together with a wire nut.
