Shortening track pendant cords
Hi,
We just installed some track pendant lights and everything is working fine, i.e. switch turns on track lights installed over kitchen island etc.
Now we have to shorten the cords that the lights hang from so that they won't get bumped or won't be in the way.
I went ahead and took apart the connectors at both the bulb and track ends and really didn't find anything that would make this easy. Both connectors are using what appear to be special crimps that look like they might be a pain to go and find.
Any ideas on this? Do I need to simply replace the track end with some commercially available compatible connectors that will allow me to make all the necessary connections using screws and not crimps?
If you know where I can get such parts, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
