ceiling fan wiring problem

ceiling fan wiring problem
hello,
i'm trying to put in a ceiling fan with a dimmer swich on the wall, the problem is i have 13 wires in the ceiling to connect. 2 blacks 2 whites, 2 copper from outlets in room, one of the blacks is the hot one, then the black , white, copper, red from the switch, and the black white blue from the fan. i know the blue from fan and red from wall switch go together and all the coppers go together but the blacks and whites ??

Connect the two blacks and the white from the switch.
Connect all the rest of the whites including the one from the fan.
Connect all the bare and green wires.
Connct the red to the blue from the light.
Connect the black to the black from the fan.
At switch
Connect the white to the fan switch and the light dimmer.
Connect the red to the dimmer other wire.
Connect the black to the fan switch other terminal.
Dimmer will control the light. If the dimmer is for fan control swap the red and black wires at the switch box.

thanks for replying joed , i have a dual dimmer switch to control fan and light does that effect wiring and i also tried the way u suggested wiring and the fan worked but when i turned lights on the switch popped but strangely it didnt trigger the fuse, any thoughts to all this
