Stupid Mistake Need Advice
I've made such a stupid mistake on a renovation project I'm just...frustrated.
I've installed 4" pot light housings. I've drywalled the ceilings and have 5" holes cutout around the bottom of the housings. This 1" difference has come to bite me in the rear. It turns out baffle trims for 4" lights are right around 5".
Bottom line this 1" difference is causing me issues with finding battle trim that hides the entire hole.
My question is this. Is there such thing as a wider baffle trim? Everything I've seen online and in stores is all the same size. If not anyone have a good tip on how I should address this silly mistake of mine?
Many thanks.
