Help With Dimmer Switch
Found the answer sorry for not looking at other post 1st...Thanks...
Is it possible to correctly add a primary and slave dimmer switches on a light circuit that also has a four way switch. I connected everything correctly but whenever I flip the four way switch it either completely removes power from the light or turns the light off momentarily then back on. I got it to work correctly with regular three way switches but unable to get the light to work correctly with the dimmer switches. I purchased three way dimmer switches but didn't think about the four way switch. If I cannot get it to work I will just go back to the regular three way switches but would really like the dimmer function. I really just need to know if it is possible to wire a light with two dimmer switches and a four way switch, thanks…
I did some reading and saw that I should only have one dimmer per circuit. I will remove one of the dimmers. However the dimmers I got are made to work at two locations but maybe not with a four way switch....Is this correct??

Most 3-way dimmers can operate at 1 location. 3-way and 4-way should not disturb the operation.
If you found a mfg, that will allow 2 dimmers on 1 lighting ckt, then the 4-way in the middle should have no affect on the operation.
You can easily match toggle switches with dimmers. A switch is a switch.

I disagree with Lee's response.
When SOME dimmers are designed to work in tandem (two per circuit) they do not like it if the circuit is interrupted, and assume it is being shut off. The momentary interruption of the power at the four way switch is fooling the dimmers, and they shut down.
Purchase a single three way dimmer and replace only one of the three way switches.
