Lighting wiring help

I dont know if anyone can help me here im new to the forum, i have recently changed my fuse board to mcb's including changing alot of the wiring.
I have come to reconnect the lighting and everything is fine apart from one room where there is two spot lights and a light fitting on a double dimmer swicth which worked fine before.
As soon as i connect them the stay on constantly and seem to ignore the switch position, i can show you the wiring from a picture but i have tried every way round as far as i can work out-any help would be great, Thanks

are you trying to accomplish a 3-way switch for a light? two lights?

You didn't give us much to go on. If you are just replacing the light fixtures and have left the wiring alone on this circuit, my guess is that you miswired a switch loop. Do you know what a switch loop is?

Please give us more details. All we can do with what you've given us so far is make wild guesses.
