Exclamation Looking for a CFL

I am looking to switch over my entire house to CFL. Most of my switches are dimmers and i really would like Full Spectrum bulbs.

So basically, does anyone know of any Full Spectrum Dimmable CFL Light bulbs?

Thank You!

There seems to be quite a few full spectrum lamps out there but none are dimmable.
This doesn't mean no one makes them but they probably will be very expensive if you find them.

Yes, they do make dimmable compact fluorescent light bulbs. I know Philips has a line called Marathon and they have at least 2 dimmable model bulbs.

Goodluck with your results!

..Just don't drop the bulbs, they contain mercury inside.

Dimmable CFL's are readily available off the 'net for about $19 each.

As for dropping them, the greatest danger is from the tiny pieces of glass they create, not the mercury.

Yes, of course they make dimmable CFLs, but that wasn't the question. The question was do they make dimmable full-spectrum CFLs. dezwit has asserted that the answer is "no". Does anyone know otherwise?

A google search for full-spectrum cfl dimmable produced quite a few results. Perhaps you could try there.
