Ceiling fan light

Two seperate questions. I have a fan/light combo that is about 2 years old. It is a Hunter brand. Recently the light fixture stopped working. I replaced both bulbs and still no light. Fan is still working fine. Any ideas?
Also have a different fan/light combo that seems to go through bulbs pretty quick. I thought that might me because lights are left on most of the night and day. any ideas?

Welcome to the forums! Need more information. Is the Hunter fan/light operated via wall switches, integrated remote control, or add on remote control? Have you checked the wiring under the bell of the fan, where the wiring is connected to the house wiring? Check the blue wire to make sure it is connected properly to its matching counterpart.

After you shut off the breaker, pull the wire nuts to make sure all of the wires are making contact with each other. Sometimes -- especially with a mix of stranded and solid wires -- one wire will "ride up" onto the insulation of another and still appear to be making good contact. It's possible that the original connection was borderline and it has finally failed.

Light bulbs don't last forever, but they also don't like vibrations. Is the fan properly balanced? There are rough-duty bulbs available that can take more abuse.
