how to change bulb in Halo recessed slot

Please help. I think my contractor may have plastered the fixture in so that I cannot change bulb, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.
I have Halo 1420 slot aperture fixtures. The inside ring (with slot) rotates, but the outside is plastered in place. Does the inside come out somehow, and if so, how?
If not, any suggestions on how best to remove fixture while minimizing damage to the plaster in my ceiling?
THANKS!

are you talking about this type of ressced can trim ??

If so you can pull down the inner trim down and it should have some type of clips that you can squezze it and it should popped out and you can see the low voltage bulb there [ there are some line voltage verison as well so watch out on that one ] and it should unclip from it some need a little twist to unlock it and replace with the same wattage and voltage [ it will be stamped on it somewhere on the base or on the lens ]

and put it back just reverse the removeal sequice

and one more thing make sure you dont touch the front lens and the bulb itself unless it is encloseed type because some of bulbs are senstive with cleaness

Merci, Marc
