Problem with Elington Fan
i am a noobie to this site and this is my first post
i bought a elington galileo fan
this one
it has worked for the first 2 years that i have had it
and just yesterday the bottom set of lights have gone dim
but it is only the bottom lights
the top lights are great
and the fan works great as well
and all of the other lights in the room work well as well
witch leads me to believe that the problem lies in the fan itself
does anyone here know what is wrong and how i can fix it
please respond soon
this is driving me mad
here are the specs and the serial number
Galileo
Model # GAL52BC4CR
Item # 17390
Fan Finish Brushed Chrome
Blade Finish Glossy Black/ Glossy Rosewood
14°
188 x 15
speed: 3
downrod only
includes 10" downrod
lifetime warranty
light kit included
3 x 50 watts GU10
remote control included, RCR
thanx

Remote controls always containing a dimming function. Perhaps somebody just used it, intentionally or accidentally, to dim the lights. Try pressing down, and holding down for ten seconds, the light control button on the remote transmitter.
