replacing tombstone sockets in florescents

I have replaced the old sockets in an existing fixture with new tombstone sockets. some of the old sockets had 4 points to insert wires and some the old sockets had only 3 points to plug in the wires from the ballast. the new sockets I bought all came with 4 holes for wires, when I am replacing a socket with only 3 wires where do the 3 wires go in the new 4 hole socket?

They go in the same places as the old ones.
The ballast will likely have a diagram on it.

There are only two terminals, with two holes each.
