Best exterior flood lights? And motion detector question
I got a new home and need to replace outdoor lights. Got them on all corners of the house and garage. Wanting something better than the big box offerings. Anyone know who makes really high quality outdoor lights? Also, is it possible to have motion detector lights that you can turn on when you hit the switch. I like the motion detector for security, but wish I could control the lights at other times. Like when company is over and I want all exterior floods on at the same time. Can this be done?

Home Depot stocks a Journeyman series motion light with a lifetime warranty. As for keeping them on, if you turn the switch off and back on within a second or two, this will override most motion controls and keep the lights on. To turn them back to the auto setting, turn the switch off for about a minute, then back on. This will turn the lights on if they have gone off, but they should turn back off by themselves within 1-5 minutes.
