lighting transformer

I have a posh crystal light with 6 G4 halogen lights. I have only had it over a year and the transformer is not working. I have taken it out and I am having trouble getting a new like for like one.
The one I have is input - 220-240vac 50/60hz with a maximum of 160W.
The one I can get has a maximum of 150w or another one has a maximum of 210W.
Does this make sence to anyone and to which transformer would be best suited or isn't it as easy as that?

Add up the watts of your lights. The watt rating of the transformer should be at least the same or greater than the lights.
