Question motion sensor lights come on too easily (overly sensitive)

I have some Zenith brand motion security lights (240 degree) on my house and they seem to come on when the wind blows. There is nothing, except maybe some grass which isnt very tall, that would be moving. Ive also turn the sensitivity level all the way down. They still come on. There are regular periods of strong breezes where I live. The lights usually go off sooner or later, but at any one time, if I get up late at night, one corner of the house or the other will have its lights on.

What can I check ?

If yoave adjusted and tested all you can then there is little else to do.If the unit is new return it.If it is not then it may be that the sensor has become too sensitive or the adjustment no longer works.

These fixtures are generally imported and made very cheaply as they are often promotional items. It is common for them to fail.

Update - they only seem to come on when the wind is blowing, even though there is nothing in range that would be moving that would cause the sensor to trigger.

It is very common for wind, moving trees or even warmer air, to trigger motion lights. Best you can do is set it to the lowest setting.
