Converting 3 inch ceiling light box to an outlet

I currently have a single incandescent fixture in my garage ceiling mounted and hard wired to a round 3 inch box. I'd like to install a fluorescent shop light that comes with a standard plug as a replacement.

Is there an outlet that will provide me a single outlet with a round metal plate that matches the 3 inch box? I can't seem to find something like this, but maybe I'm not searching with the right terms.

I'd prefer a simple conversion outlet like this over installing a new outlet box where the round ceiling box is now.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Most of those fluorescents are corded. That is not to say you can't remove it. If you plan on locating the fixture over the 3" box, just hardwire the fluorescent fixture as well. If you aren't mounting it over the box, you can purchase junction box covers that are punched for single and double receptacles. Just attach black to gold screw and white to silver screw and bare to green screw.
