voltage at connection

there is no voltage at the connection, where you wired up the fan?
if it hot to the touch than it can be tat the motor is burnt out or if it has thermal switch, that burnt out.

Have you dropped the canopy to check your wiring connections?

Turn the power off and see if the motor cools off.
