Replace cord, switch or plug?

This is not a joke. My cat peed on the switch of a 3-way lamp and so it doesn't work anymore. Do I need to replace the cord, the switch or the plug? Or all of them?

Replace the switch. Flush every thing else with distilled water and dry in the sun or with a hair dryer.

swap out

the switch ideally, if you can find a replacement and can deal with the small terminals on it where the lamp cord is on, usually on such small switches the wire is either crimped on or soldered on, but other than that you might be able to find a switch / cord assembly that you replace, this woulds mean removing the old one out and replacing with a new one

, Very agree with you. Cause I have used this method and didn't replace with a new switch.
